Sevilla have reached an agreement to sign Alexis Sánchez on a free transfer, with the Chilean forward expected to undergo his medical today.

The 35-year-old, who is regarded as one of Chile’s greatest ever players, will put pen to paper on a one-year contract once the final checks are complete. An official announcement from the club is anticipated within the next 24 hours.
Sánchez, known as El Niño Maravilla (“The Wonder Kid”), returns to Spain where he first made his name with Barcelona. Over a career spanning more than a decade in Europe, he has played for Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan and Marseille, winning major honours across multiple leagues.
His arrival adds valuable experience to Sevilla’s attacking options as the club look to strengthen ahead of the new season.
