Arsenal are on the verge of completing a £60 million move for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze after both clubs finalised the necessary paperwork late last night.

The midfielder underwent his medical in London this morning, with the final step now being the signing of his contract before registration.
Time is tight, however. To be eligible for Arsenal’s upcoming clash against Leeds United, Eze must be officially registered with the Premier League before the 12PM deadline today.
The deal, which came together quickly following a late push from Arsenal, represents one of the biggest transfers of the summer. The Gunners swooped decisively in the last 24 hours to seal an agreement, beating off interest from rival clubs to secure the 26-year-old’s signature.
If all goes to plan, Eze could make his debut in front of the Emirates crowd this weekend, adding further firepower to Mikel Arteta’s squad as they look to strengthen their title challenge.
