AS Roma have agreed a deal with Liverpool to sign left-back Kostas Tsimikas on loan until June 2026.

The Greek international has been given permission to undergo medical tests before completing the move. Tsimikas made Roma his preferred destination this summer, and the Italian club have now finalised terms to bring him to Serie A.
The 28-year-old has been part of Liverpool’s squad since 2020, providing cover and rotation for Andy Robertson. During his time at Anfield, he earned a reputation as a reliable option on the left, contributing assists and offering defensive solidity when called upon.
At Roma, Tsimikas is expected to play a more prominent role under new management, giving the side experience and depth on the left flank. The long-term loan allows both clubs flexibility, with Liverpool retaining control of the player’s contract should he return to the Premier League in the future.
The deal will be completed once medical checks are finalised, with Tsimikas set to begin a new chapter in Italy after four years in England.
