Chelsea have decided to call off Nicolas Jackson’s proposed loan move to Bayern Munich, despite the player’s representatives still pushing to make it happen.

The Premier League side informed Bayern that they would no longer move forward with the deal after young striker Liam Delap suffered an untimely injury. Chelsea view Delap as a key back-up option this season and believe letting Jackson leave now would leave them short in attack.
But Jackson’s camp are not ready to give up. His agent, Diomansy Kamara, posted a cryptic message on Instagram saying: “We are not going back. The plane doesn’t go backwards.” The comment has been widely read as a sign that the forward still wants the move to happen.
Talks between Chelsea, Bayern, and Jackson’s representatives are ongoing, with the striker’s future still hanging in the balance. While the Blues appear to have closed the door, his camp are hopeful they can convince the club to reconsider.
For now, Jackson remains a Chelsea player, but the situation is far from settled.
