Liverpool picked up a much-needed victory away at Crystal Palace with MacAllister, Wirtz and Isak grabbing the goals in a 3-0 win.

In an even first half Crystal Palace thought they’d took the lead in the 32nd minute as Yeremy Pinos shot deflected of Kamada and fell to Jorgen Strand Larsen who neatly chipped the ball over Allison before being ruled offside.

Bradley Barcola was next to come close as Szoboszlai delivered a cross from the right hand side to the back post which found Barcola completely free but the Frenchmen smashed the ball over the bar missing an absolute sitter.

Allison was then called into action as Tyrick Mitchel found Diachi Kamade free in Liverpool’s box, but his strike was excellently saved by Allison Becker keeping the scores level.

Liverpool responded to the growing Palace pressure in the 40th minute when Cody Gakpo won a free kick by the corner flag. Dominik Szoboszlai took the free kick and found Alexis MacAllister who made a fantastic run to the front post and headed the ball past Henderson giving Liverpool the lead going into half time.

Palace came out the better team at the start of the second half keeping the ball moving and restraining Liverpool to their own half. However, they were caught out when Barcola was played in down the right and he found Florian Wirtz who’s first time finished found the bottom left corner doubling the lead for the reds.

In a scrappy second half in which no team really took control of the match the first clear cut chance fell to Yeremy Pino as Osario won the ball off Jeremy Jacquet and found Pino who was denied by Allison keeping Liverpool from conceding yet again.

Liverpool came close the making it three in the 87th minute when Victor Munoz and Alexander Isak linked up well on the counter as Isak played it to Muñoz who returned the pass back to Isak who was found one on one but failed to convert the chance as Henderson saved.

Isak then got a second chance to put his missed chance behind him as Munoz found Wirtz in the box who moved the ball onto Isak who converted to give Liverpool their third goals and secure all three points.

Palace did get a goal back from the Penalty spot when Osario and Kerkez contested for the ball resulting in the referee giving a questionable penalty again Liverpool. Nketiah placed the penalty into the top right corner giving palace a consolation goal.

This result sees Iraolas side move up to fourth in the table and piles the pressure on Pierre Sage and Crystal Palace as they sit rock bottom.
